Hamburger à base de Cheddar fumé Applewood
  • 8 slices of smoked  Applewood Cheddar
  • 500g of minced pork
  • 1 little minced onion
  • 1 little peeled grated apple
  • 1 beatten egg
  • 40g of breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon of fresh sage (or dried)
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • frying oil
  • 1 big apple
  • 8 burger breads

Preparation

In a bowl, mix the pork, the onion, breadcrumbs, the sage, pepper and salt.
Squeeze the grated apple to get some juice and add it to the mix.
Using a fork, mix all before addind the beaten egg.
Once well mixed, divide in 8 parts, cover and put it in the fridge during 30 minutes.

Peel and cut the big apple into 1cm slices. Roast them using the grill and wait until they become softened.
Heat the oil in a big frying pan and fry the burgers.
Put the meat, the cheese and apple slices inside and serve.

A raw cabbage & apple salad go well with the burger :
Prepare a salad dressing with grec cheese and lemon juice and add pepper and salt. Cut the cabbage thinly, a little apple and onnions and grate a carott.
